Converstation in the car as we pull into Des Moines for the boy's semifinal basketball game:
T: I am going to need to take off my helmet tonight.
Me: Why?
T: I am getting some award before the game.
Me: Fan of the game?
... T: I guess so.
Me: When did they tell you this?
T: Oh, a couple days ago.
Me: Thanks for the heads up! Glad I won't be out getting something to drink when you receive the award.
He makes us proud again :^)

Home at last thanks to Gary and his guys. An eagle led me home on the last trip from Vermillion, a sign we are meant to be here.

New toilet installed.

Old ceiling fan.

New ceiling fan, not exactly the 5 minute installation advertised on the box. Plus basement vacuumed (again) and paint touched up in Taylor's room. Used the new washer and dryer! On the road again to St. Peter, Minnesota and scholarship day.
