The sunrise returns!



Breakfast area covered in hardy board.

Tiled area in den from deck door to kitchen.

The board is glued down and nailed down!

No more heating of the garage, the door is installed!

Start of stairs on inside of house, from living room to basement.



Rejoined the Y! Looking forward to Group Power tomorrow.

 

Day 104 - 148,302

Bench created in shower, RDZ tile starts to work on kitchen floor.

Day 103

Stairs!!!! Who knew stairs could be so exciting!!! Now we just need a door other than plastic so that we don't heat the garage any more.

Day 102

The last of the wallpaper must go!

Wallpaper removed, now need to texture.



After spraying texture.



Another job completed!

Removing corner shelf.

Who knew such a small shelf needed so many 2x4s?!?!

More small projects completed, sub-floors all mopped with Mr. Clean.

Day 101

Two hour late start of school due to ice, spent time cleaning up from sub-floor removal, painted last of basement - the garage stairwell. Cat on dryer, how does he fit in there and is it really comfortable?

Day 100



Taylor down with the stomach flu, work went on without me, YEA, all sub-floors removed, shower floor installation begun.

Day 99 - 147,810

Day of the plumber - new faucet on tub, shower plumbing moved and installed, new shower drain installed.



Day 98

New lights in bathroom, more boxes unpacked, final coat of paint on closet wall patch, concrete repairman says that basement floor looks good and to just watch for cracking.

Laundry room before and after!

Mold in paint, hole in walk-in closet repaired, stairwell from garage to basement cleaned and sanitized, last of the bleach?!?! Final proof of loss for insurance filed.

Day 95

Master walk-in closet painting done, started patching hole, first coat of paint on shower/toilet room.

Day 94 - 147,165

Shower removal mess cleaned up, Micah finished painting closets, trip to Sioux Falls for a college interview.

Day 93

Bathroom destruction complete. Does destruction lead to progress?!?! Closet painting almost finished.

Bathroom tub ready for tile, basement painting complete time to start on closets.

What a difference a day makes with the weather in South Dakota, the clamps return, storage complete, painting continues.
