Carpet installer arrives at 7:30 a.m. and has two rooms torn out before we leave at 8:15 a.m. for Des Moines. Carpet looks wonderful when we get home and the girl won!

It is nice to see the sunrise in the morning again, floors are sealed, washed the thick layer of tile dust off the Suburban, a beautiful day spent packing boxes in the basement.

Happy Valentine's Day! Beautiful snow and new wood floors! Took nails out of trim and reinstalled dishwasher, it even works.
