Another foggy morning, water only in sump pump pits, now know more than I want to about sump pumps,, gutters cleaned out, fence up, pictures hung.

The water stayed out!!!!! The floating floor floats no more, one last visit to the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, and the dry fall continues.

Should have called this driving into the sunrise and the sunset, pumped water and hooked up sump pumps, started cleaning out the gutters, turned on the water - cold only, stopped tonight and water was all gone!!! Will it stay that way?!?!

Patchy fog cleared to another beautiful day, sprinkler system working, Red Cross Disaster Recovery Kit, heat comes on in car in the morning, Corps announces delay in lowering releases . . . again.

Another beautiful day, missed the skunk again, unpacking last boxes, found the TV remote, met with another insurance adjuster, water back up so no more pumping this week, fire in one of the construction dumpsters on the circle, new sprinkler system and lawn seeded in Vermillion, progress.
