Another beautiful fall day with harvest in full swing, Ray and JT begin work on the basement, steaks on the grill, great night for high school football.

Amazing sky, unidentified flying object hits car (no damage), great volleyball match.

Another foggy morning, water only in sump pump pits, now know more than I want to about sump pumps,, gutters cleaned out, fence up, pictures hung.

The water stayed out!!!!! The floating floor floats no more, one last visit to the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, and the dry fall continues.

Should have called this driving into the sunrise and the sunset, pumped water and hooked up sump pumps, started cleaning out the gutters, turned on the water - cold only, stopped tonight and water was all gone!!! Will it stay that way?!?!

Day 24

Drove under the fog, pumped a foot again, opened windows, took photos, enjoyed a perfect fall evening of marching band, the Crusader, and football.

Sunrise and sunset with front porch in between, fence posts installed, a nap in the car (but not while driving), another beautiful fall day.

Another beautiful day, missed the skunk again, unpacking last boxes, found the TV remote, met with another insurance adjuster, water back up so no more pumping this week, fire in one of the construction dumpsters on the circle, new sprinkler system and lawn seeded in Vermillion, progress.

Beautiful, clear morning, missed the skunk in the road, pumped one foot again, work on levee continues.

Flashes of light lightning in a black morning sky, pumped another foot of water, first home football game with band, all-state choir, and the Crusader. Perfect ending on the week.

Pastel sunrise, early out due to heat and humidity, Hamilton Blvd. exit opens . . . woot, woot (new word in dictionary).
